Little diddy 'bout Mitch, Jack, and Diane

I really liked a lot of Mitch's work. A lot of it (especially the ones with really deep blacks in the contrast) were just wrought with emotion. Though I admit I tend to connect more with a darker image and emotion vs. one of a lighter nature. That being said, even the photos that were lighter, they didn't make me feel as much, weren't my favorite so much, but the composition was so beautiful that I still enjoyed looking at it, even though it wasn't my forte.

Monsoon- Wow, I saw that one and I have to say I was really freaked out. Just last night I had a dream about that very image, but it was live and menacing, thundering towards me, not a safe photo to look at from a distance (it was also a tornado, not a monsoon). The fact that mere hours later I can come to class and see a photo that so vividly captures the essence and brooding I had seen and felt in my dream, is a beautious and frightening piece of art to me, I love it.
